Types of Verification

Email Verification

Confirms you own the email address associated with your account.

How it Works:

  1. Sign up for a Dasig account
  2. Check your email for a verification link
  3. Click the link to verify your email
  4. Your email is now verified!

Required: You must verify your email before creating campaigns.

Organization Verification

For registered NGOs, LGUs, and official organizations.

Requirements (Planned):

  • Government registration documents (SEC, DOLE, etc.)
  • Official website or social media presence
  • Valid contact information
  • Proof of past relief operations

Individual Verification

For individual organizers with a track record of campaigns.

Eligibility (Planned):

  • 3+ successful campaigns
  • Valid government ID
  • Active social media accounts
  • No fraud complaints

How to Verify Your Email

    Sign up for Dasig

    Create your account at dasig.org/auth

  2. 2

    Check your email

    Look for an email from Dasig with subject "Confirm your email"

  3. 3

    Click the verification link

    This confirms your email address

  4. 4

    You're verified!

    You can now create and manage campaigns

Building Trust Without Official Verification

While organization verification isn't available yet, you can still build trust with donors:

Complete Your Profile

Add a photo, bio, and social media links. A complete profile shows you're serious about your work.

Link Social Media

Connect Facebook, Twitter, and other accounts so donors can verify your identity independently.

Post Regular Updates

Share photos, videos, and progress reports showing how donations are being used.

Be Transparent

Share receipts, distribution photos, and beneficiary testimonials. Transparency builds trust.

Respond to Messages

Answer donor questions promptly. Active engagement shows you're legitimate.

Build a Track Record

Successfully completing campaigns builds your reputation over time.

Troubleshooting

I didn't receive the verification email

Try these steps:

  • Check your spam/junk folder
  • Wait a few minutes - emails can be delayed
  • Make sure you entered the correct email address
  • Request a new verification email from your profile settings
The verification link expired

Verification links expire after 24 hours for security. Go to your profile settings and request a new verification email.

How do I apply for organization verification?

Organization verification is not available yet. We're developing the verification process and will announce it when ready. In the meantime, focus on building trust through transparency and regular updates.
