By accessing and using Dasig, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using this platform.

Platform Purpose

Dasig is a disaster response coordination platform designed to connect donors, volunteers, and organizers during emergency situations. The platform facilitates:

User Accounts

Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information
Maintain the security of your password
Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

Account Types

Donor: Can contribute to campaigns and view updates
Volunteer: Can sign up for relief activities
Organizer: Can create and manage campaigns (requires verification)
Admin: Platform management and oversight

Campaign Guidelines

For Organizers

Campaign organizers must:

Be affiliated with a verified organization or LGU
Provide accurate information about disaster events
Use funds and resources for stated purposes only
Provide regular updates to donors and volunteers
Maintain accurate inventory and distribution records
Submit transparency reports as required

Verification Process

All campaigns undergo verification to ensure legitimacy. We reserve the right to request additional documentation and to suspend or remove campaigns that violate these terms.

Donations and Contributions

By making a donation through Dasig:

You understand donations are non-refundable except in cases of fraud
You authorize us to share your contribution details with the campaign organizer
You can choose whether to display your name publicly on donor lists
You agree that Dasig is not responsible for how funds are used by organizers
You understand we perform due diligence but cannot guarantee outcomes

Prohibited Activities

You may not:

Create fraudulent campaigns or provide false information
Misrepresent your affiliation with organizations
Use the platform for money laundering or illegal activities
Harass or threaten other users
Attempt to bypass security measures
Scrape or copy platform content without permission
Impersonate other users or organizations

Intellectual Property

The Dasig platform, including its code, design, and content, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the platform without our express written permission.

Disclaimers

Dasig is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

The accuracy of campaign information
That donations will be used as intended
Uninterrupted or error-free platform access
The legitimacy of all registered organizations

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dasig and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the platform.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason we deem necessary to protect the platform and its users.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Cebu City, Philippines.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or platform notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
