FAQ
Common questions
Do I need special skills to volunteer?
No! While some campaigns need specific skills (medical, driving), many need general help with packing, sorting, and coordination. Every willing hand is valuable.
How do I get approved as a volunteer?
After you apply to a campaign, the organizer reviews your application and approves or rejects it. You'll receive a notification either way. Most approvals happen within 24 hours.
How are my volunteer hours verified?
You log your hours after completing work, and the campaign organizer verifies them. Only verified hours appear on your impact dashboard and count toward your portfolio.
Can I volunteer for multiple campaigns?
Absolutely! You can apply to as many campaigns as you want. Just make sure you can commit to the shifts you claim.
Is there a minimum time commitment?
It depends on the campaign. Some have specific shifts (4-hour blocks), while others are flexible. Check each campaign's requirements when you apply.
Can I use my volunteer record for school or work?
Yes! Your verified volunteer hours are timestamped and tied to specific campaigns. You can share your public profile or export your volunteer history.
