How long it takes
If you have never given or received money through Dasig, we aim to erase everything the same business day. Where there is a payment history to work through, it takes up to seven days. Either way we reply to confirm what was done.
You have seven days to change your mind after deletion is carried out ā write to us and we can restore the account from a snapshot. That snapshot is destroyed after thirty days, and once it is gone the deletion cannot be reversed by anyone, including us.
What gets erased
- Your sign-in credentials and login sessions
- Your profile, display name, photo and contact details
- Images and files you uploaded
- Campaigns you created that never received a gift, including their content
- Your volunteer history
- Your notification token, so the app stops being able to reach your device
The account is genuinely gone rather than switched off. You can sign up again later with the same email address and start clean.
What we have to keep, and why
Some records cannot be erased on request, because Philippine law requires us or the organisation you gave to keep them. In each case we remove your personal details and keep only the transaction:

One thing we keep so we can leave you alone
After deletion we keep a scrambled fingerprint of your email address ā a one-way code we cannot turn back into the address itself. We keep it indefinitely, for one purpose: so that if your address ever reaches us again through an import or a sync, we recognise it and stay silent.
Without it, erasing your account would also erase the only record that you did not want to be contacted.
If you do nothing
You do not have to delete your account to be left alone. If a contact record of yours sits inactive for three years with no giving activity, we anonymise it automatically. You can also unsubscribe from any email without closing your account.
