Use Dasig's messaging system to coordinate with volunteers, transport helpers, and supporters
Dasig's built-in messaging lets you coordinate directly with volunteers, transport helpers, and supporters. All conversations are 1:1 (one-on-one), private, and update in real-time without needing to refresh the page.
Click your avatar in the top right corner → Select "Messages"
Navigate to /profile/messages
When you have new messages, a red badge appears on your avatar in the header
Conversations are created when:
See all your active conversations sorted by most recent message
Each conversation shows a preview of the last message sent or received
Unread conversations are highlighted with a badge and bold text
See the name and avatar of the person you're messaging
Click on any conversation from your inbox list
Use the text box at the bottom of the screen
Press Enter to send (or click the Send button)
Press Shift+Enter for a new line without sending
"Thanks for offering to help! We need transport on Saturday at 10 AM from [assembly location] to [impact location]. Can you handle about 50 boxes?"
"Hi! I'd like to help with sorting donations. What days do you need volunteers? I'm available weekday mornings."
"Thank you so much for your donation! We received the items and they're being distributed this week. I'll share photos in the campaign updates!"
Keyboard Shortcuts:
Try refreshing the page. Real-time updates work automatically, but a refresh can fix connection issues.
Make sure you're signed in and the message isn't empty. Check your internet connection.
Conversations stay in your inbox until manually deleted (future feature). Check if you're looking at the right account.
