Creating Your First Campaign

Learn how to create and launch your first disaster relief campaign on Dasig in minutes

Step 1: Navigate to Campaign Creation

Click the “Start a Campaign” button in the header navigation, or visit the campaign creation page directly.

Step 2: Fill in Basic Information

Required Fields:

  • Campaign Title: Choose a clear, descriptive name (e.g., “Earthquake Relief for Bohol Communities”)
  • Disaster Event: Select or create the disaster event your campaign is responding to
  • Location: Specify the affected area (province, city, barangay)
  • Campaign Type: Choose whether you're collecting donations, volunteers, or both

Step 3: Define What You Need

Add specific items or resources you need. For each need, specify:

  • Item name and category: Food, water, medical supplies, volunteers, etc.
  • Target quantity: Number and unit of measurement
  • Priority level: Urgent, high, medium, or low
  • Description: Details about the need (for volunteers: roles, shifts, requirements)

Step 4: Tell Your Story

Write a compelling narrative that explains:

  • • What happened and who is affected
  • • Why you're organizing this campaign
  • • How the donations will be used
  • • The impact you hope to achieve

Step 5: Add Photos and Evidence

Upload clear photos showing:

  • • The affected area or disaster impact
  • • People you're helping (with consent)
  • • Your team or organization in action

Step 6: Set Distribution Details

Provide information about how donors can contribute:

  • • Drop-off locations and hours
  • • Contact information for coordination
  • • Timeline for collection and distribution

Step 7: Review and Submit

Before publishing:

  • ✓ Double-check all information for accuracy
  • ✓ Review your story for clarity and typos
  • ✓ Ensure photos are appropriate and clear
  • ✓ Verify contact information is correct

What Happens Next?

After submitting your campaign:

  1. 1. Your campaign is published and immediately visible to the public
