1

Find a Campaign

Start by browsing active campaigns on Dasig. Each campaign shows what kind of help they need — whether it’s drivers, medics, packers, or general volunteers.

Browse the Campaigns Page

Go to /campaigns and browse active relief efforts. Filter by location, disaster type, or volunteer needs.

Check Campaign Details

Click on any campaign to see their needs, location, timeline, and volunteer requirements. Look for the "Coordination & Logistics" section.

View Available Shifts

Some campaigns post specific shifts with dates, times, and roles. Check if their schedule matches your availability.

2

Sign Up & Get Approved

Found a campaign you want to help with? Signing up takes less than a minute. Here’s what happens:

Click "Volunteer for This Campaign"

On the campaign page, find the volunteer signup button in the Coordination & Logistics section. If you’re not logged in, you’ll be prompted to create an account.

Fill Out Quick Application

Share your skills, preferred role, availability, and a brief note about why you want to help. This helps organizers match you to the right tasks.

Wait for Approval

Organizers review applications and approve within hours. You’ll receive a notification when approved — then you can start claiming shifts!

Tip: Include any relevant experience or skills in your application (medical training, driving license, local knowledge). It helps organizers place you effectively.

3

Volunteer & Track Your Impact

Once approved, you’re part of the team! Here’s how to make the most of your volunteer experience:

Claim Available Shifts

If the campaign has posted shifts, claim the ones that fit your schedule. Each shift shows the role, location, date, and time.

Log Your Volunteer Hours

After volunteering, log your hours from your dashboard. Include the date, duration, and a brief description of what you did.

Get Hours Verified

Organizers verify your logged hours. Verified hours count toward your official volunteer portfolio — proof of your service.

Track Your Lifetime Impact

Visit your Contributions Dashboard to see total hours, campaigns helped, and your volunteer journey over time.

Everything you need as a volunteer is in one place — your Contributions Dashboard at /profile/contributions.
