Settings & Branding

Customize your organization's profile, logo, colors, and public presence

Accessing Settings

Only Owners and Admins can access organization settings.

  1. 1. Navigate to your organization's profile page at dasig.org/orgs/[your-slug]
  2. 2. Click the "Settings" button in the header (visible only to Owners and Admins)
  3. 3. You'll see a sidebar with different settings sections

Settings Sections

The settings page is organized into sections, similar to Facebook's settings interface:

Overview

Basic organization information like name, description, mission, location

Branding

Logo, banner image, and brand colors for visual identity

Contact Info

Email, phone number, website for public contact

Social Links

Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn profiles

Network

Parent organization and sub-organization management

Visibility

Public/private settings and who can see your organization

Overview Settings

Configure basic organization information:

Organization Name

Official name of your organization (e.g., "Philippine Red Cross - Cebu Chapter")

Short Description

Brief 1-2 sentence overview shown in search results and previews

Mission Statement

Detailed description of your organization's purpose and goals

Location

City and region where your organization operates

Branding Settings

Make your organization stand out with custom branding:

Logo

  • Recommended size: 400x400 pixels (square)
  • Format: PNG or JPG with transparent background preferred
  • Max file size: 5MB
  • Used on: Profile page, campaign headers, member lists

Banner Image

  • Recommended size: 1500x500 pixels (3:1 ratio)
  • Format: JPG or PNG
  • Max file size: 10MB
  • Used on: Organization profile page header

Brand Color

  • Color picker: Select your organization's primary brand color
  • Used on: Profile accents, buttons, highlights
  • Tip: Choose a color that matches your logo for consistency

Uploading Images

  1. 1. Go to the Branding section in settings
  2. 2. Click "Upload Logo" or "Upload Banner"
  3. 3. Select your image file from your computer
  4. 4. Wait for upload to complete (you'll see a loading indicator)
  5. 5. Preview the image to make sure it looks good
  6. 6. Click "Save Changes" to apply

You can also remove images by clicking the "Remove" button next to uploaded images.

Contact Information

Make it easy for people to reach your organization:

  • Email: Primary contact email (publicly visible)
  • Phone: Contact number for inquiries
  • Website: Your organization's official website URL

Social Links

Connect your social media profiles for better discoverability:

Facebook

Full Facebook page URL

Twitter / X

Twitter/X profile URL

Instagram

Instagram profile URL

LinkedIn

LinkedIn page URL

Network Settings

Organizations can be part of larger networks. For example:

  • • Local Red Cross chapters under Philippine Red Cross national
  • • Barangay disaster response teams under city government
  • • Regional church groups under main church organization

Parent Organization

If your organization is part of a larger network, select the parent organization from the dropdown.

Benefits: Shared credibility, network statistics, hierarchical display on profiles

Visibility Settings

Control who can see and discover your organization:

Public (Recommended)

Organization appears in search results, public campaigns are visible, profile page is accessible to everyone

Private

Only members can see organization details. Not recommended for NGOs and relief organizations.

Saving Changes

After making changes in any section:

  1. 1. Review your changes to make sure everything looks correct
  2. 2. Click the "Save Changes" button at the top right
  3. 3. Wait for confirmation message
  4. 4. Changes appear immediately on your organization profile

Best Practices

  • Use high-resolution, professional images for logo and banner
  • Keep your mission statement clear, concise, and compelling
  • Make sure contact information is current and monitored
  • Link all active social media accounts
  • Keep organization public for maximum visibility
  • Update settings when organizational details change
