What are Campaign Needs?

Campaign needs are the specific items and resources you need for your relief efforts. Each need has a target quantity, and donors can contribute to help you reach that goal.

Find the campaign you want to update

Look for the button in your campaign card

  3. Click “Add New Need”

Fill in the details for the item

  4. Save the need

It will immediately appear on your campaign page

Updating Received Amounts

  3. 3. Click “Record Donation”
  4. 4. Enter the quantity received
  5. 5. Optionally link to the donor (if not anonymous)

Editing and Removing Needs

Editing Needs

You can edit any need at any time. Common edits include adjusting target quantities or updating item descriptions.

Removing Needs

Only remove needs if they were added in error. If a need is no longer required, mark it as complete instead.

Best Practices

  • ✓ Start with 3-5 essential needs, add more as needed
  • ✓ Use consistent units (don't mix kg and lbs)
  • ✓ Set realistic target quantities
  • ✓ Prioritize urgent needs as “High Priority”
  • ✓ Update received amounts promptly
  • ✓ Add new needs as the situation evolves
